Ashley Brazeal
Bio
I have loved reading and writing for as long as I can remember. As a child, my sister and I even tried to write a book of our own, just like the ones my mother used to read to us before bed. While the "book" was simply doodles and scribbles on a pad of sticky notes, I knew then that I had a passion for literature.
Education
I studied English with a concentration in writing and publication University of North Georgia, graduating with my Bachelor's degree in this field in July of 2024. During this time, I also completed a minor in Environmental Studies.
Employment
I have worked in several professional settings, such as my senior summer internship with the nonprofit Writer's Workout, where I was trained to judge short story entries, creating feedback for contestants that was intended to help them improve on specific writing skills. I also have experience in tutoring with the Alliance for Literacy, as well as at my university's library as a student assistant.
